The self-ligating SmartClip™ brackets have less friction and do not require the colored ties of traditional braces. The benefits of lower friction include less force in moving the patient’s teeth and increased comfort. SureSmile® custom archwire technology allows Dr. Biermann to take 3-D scans of your teeth, plan your treatment on a computer, and then order archwires that are uniquely customized for your needs. The result? Fewer visits, less discomfort and up to 40% less treatment time than traditional appliances.

These clear brackets from 3M Unitek provide the most recent technology in tooth movement. They feature the self-ligating SmartClip™ Bracket design (no colored ties needed), are easier to clean than traditional brackets, your appointment times can be faster and your teeth can move more efficiently (without the friction that ties introduce).
